Cleanup

Since we had a day off at school because of the Polish Independence Day, I figured I just have to do something on that day! Is there anything better than a clean-up on such day? I didn’t think so and consequently I had organized it.
Me and my friends gathered up at 12 pm in front of our school and went to the forest. We were shocked with kinds of garbage we have found! I mean, there was even a broken TV lying next to a tree! And nearby that tree, in shrubs, there was natural bin for glass bottles. I took us a long time to clean this area up but it was worth it!
There were some people passing us by. All of them were impressed that young people are trying to help the environment they live in, trying to make a difference. One lady said (quote) that we give her hope for the young generation and for the greener Poland, the other lady said that she admires us but those trash will come back again. But I only look at this as another chance to organize a clean-up! ☺
I’m happy that we could help our environment and somebody besides me and my friends appreciates it! I think that this clean-up is a perfect gift for Poland for It’s independence!
