Amazing Pangaea reached Manaus after all this long journey. I know this city, and the sorrounding area as well. I have many friends in Manaus and in the jungle thanks to the help I had from Mike, Cathy and Therese Aubreton a few years ago. This is an incredible place. I love the rain forest, the rivers and the local people of Amazonas. There's surely a lot to do environmentwise in this location: the forest needs help and attention. All my best wishes to Mike and his team!!! Francesco.

Bonjour MR Horn,

You must be embarassed by the photo on the cover of Montechristo Magazine. The way the line is wound around the self-tailing winch, it would never work. Also, it is very unsafe to be barefoot on a sailboat. All kinds of things to hit a toe on, and decks can get very slippery without good shoes.

I happened to see your boat anchored in Key Largo yesterday. I had no idea what this expedition was all about until I came in and looked it up. Wow. Many times in my life I was told I was living the dream, well this time I can say, you are all living my dream. What a beautiful project, mission. Enjoy the journey. Life is good..everything else is extra. Maybe someday I will be lucky enough to get a closer look at your beautiful vessel. A true beauty of the sea. Fair winds to all of you.

Your speech and presentation was the most inspirational speech I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. We are proud to have you as part of the Wenger family. Mike, It was amazing getting to see your boat sail by while i was fishing around Afognak island. When i saw the boat in the distance i knew it was the Pangaea even though it was so far away! Unfortunately when my boat got back to Kodiak we ended up leaving a few hours later. I would have loved to have the chance to meet you and the crew! Continue to have a safe journey and teaching people about the world we inhabit!

Mike,
What a pleasure and a blessing to meet you today in Baltimore with my husband and children! The pleasure was your welcoming nature and shared passion for positive environmental action in our daily lives. The blessing was the inspiration you left us with and the whirlwind of ideas that have flooded our minds and hearts from such a brief encounter. Thank you and Godspeed to you, your crew, and your emerging ambassadors each and every day!

Just noticed your masts as I drove home today, stopped by to take a look at the new Cabrillo Way Marina (I think Mike was at the stern for a bit). Looks to be a lovely vessel -- is there any public viewing scheduled? Or would you like a nice home cooked meal (my wife is a very good cook)?

Mike and Crew, welcome to San Pedro and our new Cabrillo Way Marina. Yesterday I stopped by the Marina and saw Pangaea for the first time, and was awestruck in seeing this beautiful boat. I am a volunteer crew on the 2 brigantines which are part of the Topsail Program and are docked in the LA Port Main Channel. We train middle school students how to sail these 128 foot vessels. Please enjoy your visit to our fine port, and should you need any help or assistance while here, contact me.

While in the middle of my move, I found your book Latitude Zero in the morning. I started reading it and couldn't put it away until I was finished with it late afternoon. Absolutely amazing. People like you are rare, that focus and prove what can be done and not what can't. There is no better example than you that success starts in your head. Truely inspirational. Thank you and keep going for mankind, Florian

Hey did you know that a regular light bulb is not only energy wasting but it doesn't last long? But the energy star light bulbs last for years and they use less elctricity which saves you money! Heres another money saver. Instead of just throwing away a emtey bottle wash it and use it again, or just bring a nice water bottle from the store. And don;t buy as much paper and plastic pates and silverware, just bring nice plastic plates that can be washed and your own silverware that will save you some money too. Just think I'm just a kid and in a few minute look at all this stuff I came up with. Not only will this help our world but it saves your money and maybe you might help the Earth on accident. So Reuse, Recycle, and Renew!! :)

Pardon.
