The Mayo Clinic

Dr. Johnson and his medical team from the Mayo Clinic will be teaming up with Mike Horn during his four year Pangaea Expedition to help with the evaluation/assessment, education and medical aspects of the young explorers program.

Dr. Johnson and his team will be involved in teaching the physiological adaptations associated with extreme environments and physical activity, assess the young explorers through novel measures of human performance testing (both on site in Switzerland and in the field during expeditions with Mike Horn). His team will include an integrated group of students, teachers, scientists and physicians.
