OFFICIAL PRESENTING PARTNER

From its foundation in Florence in 1860, it has been dedicated to increasing its prowess in the field of watchmaking and production of mechanical instruments. These activities attracted the interest of the Royal Italian Navy and, in the period up to and including the Second World War, the company was closely involved in working with the Italian Navy.
As well as being an example of the experimental research carried out by Panerai in the field of luminous materials, the Radiomir and Luminor patents also marked the company’s official entry into the world of watches, which took place in the 1930s. Freed from the bonds of official secrecy, in 1993 the Panerai watch was sold to the public for the first time in history. After its acquisition of the brand and its watch department in 1997, the Vendôme Group (now Richemont) was immediately inspired by the rich heritage of Panerai in its international relaunch of the company.
The brand’s technical and technological research has taken a further step forward with the new Panerai Calibres movements designed, constructed and assembled entirely by the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel. These movements represent the synthesis of the Officine Panerai spirit, an offering of haute horlogerie which preserves the same spirit as the tradition which has guided it, a natural blend of quality craftsmanship and technological development.
