The development and use of innovative technologies which enable fuel consumption reductions and therefore also lower emissions is standard practice at Mercedes-Benz. These innovations include BlueTEC diesel technology which makes diesel engines just as clean as gasoline engines, powerful hybrid drives and a new generation of fuel cell vehicles. The new B-Class F-Cell - the first fuel cell vehicle to be produced under serial conditions - will be launched in 2010.
